2019.05.20 0+

The 11th China Cognitive Linguistics Conference:

2nd Call for Papers

The past forty years have witnessed a significant development in cognitive linguistics, which has become one of the most influential linguistic schools and has attracted scholars in the fields of both Chinese and foreign languages. The 1st China Cognitive Linguistics Conference was held in Shanghai International Studies University in 2001. In May 2006, China Cognitive Linguistics Association (CCLA) was founded during the 4th China Cognitive Linguistics Conference in Nanjing, China. In November, 2018, China Cognitive Linguistics Association became a secondary association of China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese and its name was changed to Cognitive Linguistics Research Committee, China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese (CLRC-CACSEC). In the past ten years, CLRC-CACSEC has spared no effort to promote the development of cognitive linguistics in China, and thus has held several different kinds of conferences. The 11th China Cognitive Linguistics Conference is to be held on November 2—3, 2019 at Beijing Foreign Studies University, China. We will invite top-ranked scholars at home and abroad in the field of cognitive linguistics to deliver keynote speeches in the conference.
